Nick Thorpe
Director
Nick is a shrewd and experienced property investor/developer with considerable expertise in buy-to-let, HMO and property development. He has started, run and advised a number of very successful businesses. As co-founder and Director of Modus he is operationally focused and leads with sourcing and programme managing the investments. Raised in rural Yorkshire, he loves all things outdoors and can often be found tinkering/building something at home.
Kazie Scott
Business Manager
Kazie is a talented business manager with a career that has taken her from Manchester to Malaysia and now to Modus. As the Business Manager she ensures the day-day business activities run smoothly as well as overseeing all our client property purchases.
Kazie is an experienced client support manager ensuring our clients receive the best service possible. Her relaxed and calming nature fits perfectly with her love of yoga.
Elise Bowmer
Assistant Project Manager
Elise has several years’ experience working within finance and operations for construction companies with excellent service delivery skills. At Modus Property she is responsible for ensuring that our property refurbishment projects run smoothly and oversees the final stages of dressing and presentation of properties ready for viewings. During her spare time Elise enjoys going to her local gym and at weekends shopping with her friends.
Kirsty Cooper
Business Administrator of Finance
Kirsty joins us from a managerial background, working within the retail sector gaining a broad spectrum of skills. At Modus Kirsty’s role centres around maintaining budgets and reviewing income/expenditure whilst supporting the company Director and the office, with administrative tasks. When Kirsty is not balancing the books, she can be found spending quality time with her young family.
Lauren Hardwood
Portfolio Administrator
Lauren has vast experience in property maintenance and recently joined Modus as the Barnsley Lettings Administrator. Lauren manages the day to day running of our ever expanding Barnsley portfolio. A large part of this role is managing maintenance and compliance.
In her spare time she enjoys keeping fit, dress making and spending time with animals.
Louise Russell
Business Administrator
Louise has a varied and wide ranging role within Modus. She deals with pre and post purchase administration that includes everything from setting up utilities for investors to ensuring properties are legally compliant to let or sell. She can also be found viewing the occasional property to source for our investors. During her spare time Louise enjoys playing guitar and the piano.
